Oak buds have pushed out dead leaves; robin’s nests are under construction and newborn rabbits can now be purchased at feed stores. Even thinking about the season brings a smile to my face.

Being a published author of an autobiography is frightful. Seeing your name on the worldwide web, in press releases and on the cover of a book found in bookstores, and reading reviews on Amazon is mind-blowing. It’s also most humbling. Especially when the topic is all about “the real you.” Transparency with my life is something I’ve grown comfortable…..
